I have found that it is necessary to assign myself tasks to keep me occupied with things to do and prevent the early onset of dementia (assuming I don't already have it).
Here are some things that I have assigned myself to do in the last few weeks:
- Join an ultimate frisbee team
- Replace my defunct cell phone
- Eat healthier food
- Climb Cascade Mtn.
- Find out how to replace a car starter
- Listen to BYU football domination
- Take my sister out for lunch
- Play more chess
- Think about getting a job
- Attend a missionary lesson with a friend
- Hike a slot canyon
- Save money
- Spend money
- Visit my grandparents
- Go to the temple
- Digest some In N Out Burger
- Pray more often
- Visit old friends
- Visit new friends

I can't help but notice that your list has an equal number of positively and negatively charged particles, thus rendering it neutral, and therefore useless. Like numbers 3 and 16, for example.
I think visiting Steve & me will be sufficient for #18. :)
It is so nice to see all sides of you Brian Walker... I guess you could say it makes me feel a little more human knowing that I am not the only one who has the late night rambling side... or who assigns myself homework...in fact now that I know I am not alone...I feel entirely justified in assigning myself homework this weekend ;) Thanks for everything this week!
